Many Real Madrid supporters expected to see summer acquisition Arda Guler make his debut for the club last night when they met SC Braga at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 18-year-old joined the club from Fenerbahce in the summer but has yet to play a single game owing to injury issues.
However, after returning to training in the last few weeks, it was expected that the offensive midfield prodigy would make his debut this week against Braga.
The wait continues.
However, Guler remained an unused replacement on the bench as Real Madrid cruised to a 3-0 win at the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to MARCA, the summer acquisition, who cost Real Madrid €30 million (with add-ons), will not make his debut until after the international break.
Guler is unlikely to play when Los Blancos face Valencia in La Liga later this week before the international break.
Earlier today, the youthful prodigy did not practice with the rest of the squad, instead opting to do some gym training within the facility with Dani Ceballos.
