Arda Guler has found himself caught in the relentless grip of misfortune as he continues to be riddled with injuries in the early stages of his tenure at Real Madrid.
While his signing sparked a great deal of excitement in the summer, given the interest he had garnered from all over Europe, Real Madrid fans are yet to quench their thirst for witnessing Guler grace the field with the Royal White jersey on.
Nonetheless, the Turkish sensation has entered the final phase of his recovery, as he edges closer to fulfilling his deferred dream.
Loan exit ruled out
As per MARCA, Real Madrid are not thinking of sending Arda Guler out on loan anytime soon.
Due to the competition in Madrid, the 18-year-old’s lack of playing time thus far, and the interest of other clubs looming large, there have already been murmurs of a potential January loan; however, neither the club nor the player considers this as a realistic option.
Having arrived as an established star from Fenerbahce, the Merengues believe his talents justify continuance in the team and trust from the hierarchy.
Moreover, Guler knows he still has a lot of time left in the season to prove himself and his worth.
In fact, coach Carlo Ancelotti has advised him to unwind and not overthink excessively because, at the end of the day, he was signed for the long term.
Return inbound
The teenage sensation’s recovery is being handled very meticulously as Real Madrid do not want a relapse to wash away all the progress he has made.
As per prior reports, Guler’s return is not yet scheduled, but it is likely that he will be called up to the squad and sent to Riyadh to compete in the Spanish Super Cup.
The youngster has cut short his vacation to return to training at the Valdebebas today and will be eager to make his debut soon.
