In an exclusive interview with TNT Sports Brazil, prospective Real Madrid player Endrick expressed his excitement at the prospect of PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe joining him at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Endrick was bought by Real Madrid in December of last year for a cost of €35 million plus €25 million in variables.
Endrick remained in Brazil since he was still 16 at the time and will not join the Merengues until the summer of 2024.
The arrival of the Brazilian prodigy might coincide with the arrival of long-term Real Madrid trade target Kylian Mbappe.
Despite the club’s efforts, the PSG superstar is in the last year of his contract at Parc des Princes and has showed no sign of wishing to extend.
A transfer may have happened this summer, but the Frenchman decided to remain in France for another season.
In the midst of speculation that Mbappe may join Real Madrid next summer, Endrick congratulated the 2018 FIFA World Cup champion, saying:
“I support Real Madrid, so the more talented players there are, the better.” It would be fantastic if he could come.”
Endrick has already indicated his desire to play alongside Mbappe and Vinicius Jr., and this is not the first time he has mentioned Mbappe to Real Madrid.
“He’s a fantastic player, head and shoulders above the rest.” Endrick described him as “decisive, spectacular, super-fast, and he dribbles better now.”
“It would be fantastic to play alongside both Vinicius and Mbappé. They’re both amazing, and I’d be thrilled to perform with such talented individuals.”
Real Madrid want to sign Mbappe to a pre-contract deal in January of next year so that he may join the club as a free agent in the summer.
If that is not feasible, the Merengues have identified options such as Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez.
