Despite Real Madrid’s undefeated start to the season, the Galacticos are still a long way from reaching their full potential, with injuries playing a major factor.
After Thibaut Courtois’ season was wrecked by an ACL injury, things got much worse when Eder Militao tore his ACL and youthful new addition Arda Guler tore his meniscus before the season even began.
Vinicius Jr., a talented winger, also suffered a thigh injury in the match against Celta Vigo, adding insult to injury.
There were initial fears that Vini’s injuries was also fairly severe, but those fears were quickly allayed.
Everyone has been putting in a lot of effort to get better, and now there’s good news about two of them, according to Goal Espana (h/t Madrid Xtra).
Reunited on the field with Arda Guler and Vini
After being linked to Barcelona, Guler joined for Fenerbahce in the summer to much excitement.
Guler’s smooth dribbling talents and ability to open defenses have earned him the nickname “the Turkish Messi,” and he is a valuable asset as Madrid looks to usher in an era of new stars.

However, he had to return home from the United States after suffering a meniscus injury during preseason since the condition was not considered significant enough to justify surgery.
It has been claimed that he and Vini Jr. have made significant progress in their recoveries and are back to training on the field.
The results have been quite promising for Los Blancos as they prepare for the start of the Champions League season and try to maintain their momentum in La Liga.
