Both Eder Militao, a defender for Real Madrid, and Andriy Lunin, a goalie for the club, have decided to withdraw from their international commitments owing to worries over their respective health.
Having flown to Brazil after Real Madrid’s victory against Villarreal, Militao will now return to Madrid. He had been away from the club for some time. The examinations that were carried out by the Brazilian national team were able to establish that he is struggling with a muscular issue.
On the other hand, Lunin has been unable to participate due to an illness caused by a virus.
Militao was supposed to play for Brazil in their next World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Peru. However, he was supposed to play for Brazil instead. In spite of this, the Brazilian Football Confederation declared that he will not be participating in the competition after a small muscle strain was identified in his left thigh.
As a result of this injury, he will be joining Vinicius Jr., who is already out of action due to a cervical problem. Fabrício Bruno, a member of Flamengo, has been called up to the team in order to take the position of Militao.

It was reported by The Athletic that the Brazilian Football Federation issued a statement that said, “The athlete (Militao) left the Spanish club’s La Liga match (against Villarreal) complaining of muscle pain in his left thigh.”
There was a little muscle issue in his left thigh that was discovered during the testing that he took this past Sunday in Sao Paulo. As a result, he will not be able to participate in either of Brazil’s two games.
The Brazilian defender will now return to Madrid in order to concentrate on his recuperation. He hopes to be fit for selection by Carlo Ancelotti when the international break has passed.
