Real Madrid’s first half of the season was beset with difficulties as the team had lost numerous important players to seemingly never-ending injuries.
But the Merengues are slowly but definitely beginning to recover some of their absentees, so there seems to be some hope at last.
There’s more good news for Real Madrid supporters as it has been reported that Arda Guler will play in the match against Mallorca.
The return of Vinicius and Camavinga is imminent
In fact, Rodra claims that Vinicius Jr. and Eduardo Camavinga are getting closer to returning, and plans are already in place for their reintegration back into the team.
According to the information, Vinicius is supposed to play the last few minutes of the match against Mallorca, which is immediately following the Christmas break.
On January 3rd, the Royal Whites will play 14th-place Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabeu, but they won’t be taking any chances by putting Vinicius in the starting lineup right away.
As for Camavinga, who will have to wait a little while longer to make his much anticipated comeback, more prudence will be exercised in the interim.
However, the Madrid supporters may breathe a sigh of relief as both players have fully recovered.
During their hiatus, Vinicius and Camavinga continued their recovery efforts at the Los Angeles Galaxy team’s facilities, where they trained both indoors and outdoors. Together, they experienced the procedure in Madrid, Dubai, and ultimately the US.
With only a few days left before their return, coach Carlo Ancelotti is now preparing to challenge for trophies on all fronts.
