Real Madrid are expected to sign a left-back in the near future. The club did bring in Fran Garcia in the summer following his impressive spell at Rayo Vallecano. He has not managed to convince since then though. On the other hand, Ferland Mendy has done a decent job but has continued to struggle with fitness problems and the expectation is that he will depart after this season.
Alphonso Davies is someone Real Madrid have been heavily linked with recently. His contract at Bayern Munich runs out in the summer of 2025 and renewal talks appear to be complicated.
If Davies was to leave Bayern Munich, Real Madrid look like his most likely destination. Nothing should ever be taken for granted though, especially with top Premier League clubs believed to be interested as well.
As reported by Calciomercato.it, Real Madrid are also studying the alternatives to Davies and the main one leads precisely to Theo Hernandez. Bayern Munich are interested in the AC Milan left-back as well.
Real Madrid want to bring back £60 million AC Milan player
Of course, Hernandez was at Real Madrid in the past. He did make a decent amount of appearances at the senior level as well but ultimately, AC Milan signed him for a transfer package believed to rise up to €20 million.
There, he has proven himself as one of the best left-backs in all of Europe. He played a key part in AC Milan’s Serie A triumph a couple of seasons back and their run to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals last season too.
That being said, AC Milan are expected to look for a significant figure to consider parting ways with Hernandez. In the past, there have been suggestions that the Italian giants would want a transfer fee close to £60 million for the French international.
