Significant progress is being made by Real Madrid in the direction of achieving their goals for the summer. After what seems like years of running a soap play, Kylian Mbappe now looks to be close to securing a transfer to Spain. Reports from earlier today suggested that the club had made progress toward one of its other targets, Alphonso Davies.
The Merengues have reportedly established a verbal agreement with the Bayern Munich player over a transfer that will take place during the summer, as was disclosed earlier today.
The player has been delaying discussions of a renewal in favor of a move for a number of months now, and the update that was released earlier today gave the impression that the transaction is finalized and cannot be changed.
Not even close to being finished
In spite of the rumors that he has reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid, Davies has not yet made a choice about his future, as stated by Maximilian Koch in a breaking report.
In spite of this, there has been no decision or action made that can be considered definitive as of yet. He has not yet made a definitive choice about his future, and it is not possible to rule out the possibility of a contract renewal with Bayern Munich.
However, the economic disparity that exists between the player’s demands and the club’s offer is the issue that is preventing Davies from reaching a deal with the Bavarians.
With that being said, it is not quite apparent what will take place in the event that Bayern gives in to Davies’ requests.
