Real Madrid have made it a point to keep an eye out for the best young talents across the globe in a bid to sign them early and help them turn into superstars at the club.
Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes have been the biggest success stories of this recruitment policy while Los Blancos hope to achieve similar success with Endrick, who will be arriving next summer.
More young talents continue to remain on the agenda of the Spanish capital club, with Palmeiras’ wonderkid Estevao Willian, known as ‘Messinho’, on the agenda.
Guilherme Ruck on Real Madrid’s agenda
Now, Mario Cortegana of The Athletic is reporting that Real Madrid have taken an interest in signing 14-year-old Real Valladolid wonderkid Guilherme Ruck.
The teenage playmaker, 14, was born in Brazil but moved to Europe at a very young age, first arriving in Portugal and from there to Spain.
Upon landing in Spain, the teenage prospect trained with several teams in Madrid, including Rayo Majadahonda, before arriving at the Real Valladolid academy in April 2022.
Rated very highly, Ruck is yet to sign a professional contract as he is still not 16 years old and can choose to move clubs if he desires to do so.
Real Madrid, thus, have expressed an interest in the 14-year-old Brazilian youngster, with chief scout Juni Calafat personally leading the charge to bring him to Valdebebas.
PSG also keen on Ruck
However, Real Madrid are not the only club to be interested in signing Ruck as French giants PSG have also taken a liking to the teenage attacking midfielder.
Meanwhile, Brazilian clubs like Flamengo and Palmeiras have also shown an interest in the teenage prodigy.
Previously, reports of Barcelona’s interest in Ruck have also done the rounds, and as such, Real Madrid will have their task cut out to close the 14-year-old’s signing.
