Real Madrid has a number of players whose current contracts with the club are set to expire at the conclusion of the current season. Toni Kroos is one of these players.
In the same circumstance that he was in the previous year, the experienced player, who is now 34 years old, made the decision to sign a new one-year contract in order to continue playing at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Now that he is entering the last six months of his contract, there have been rumors going around concerning his future, namely whether he would continue working or retire. These rumors have been taking place once again.
Kroos is informed by Real Madrid that they will be offering a one-year contract.
As of right now, Mario Cortegana of The Athletic is stating that Real Madrid is prepared to grant Kroos a new one-year deal in order to retain him with the club until the year 2025.
The club president Florentino Perez and the CEO Jose Angel Sanchez have already notified the 34-year-old legend that a proposal would be delivered to him, according to the source. This is despite the fact that Los Blancos have not yet presented a formal offer of a contract to the player.
Kroos has once again established himself as an important player for Carlo Ancelotti, despite the fact that there were worries over his position beginning with the beginning of the season.
Over the course of his career, the former Germany international has appeared in 29 matches across all competitions, scoring one goal and producing seven assists.
Kroos has not yet made a decision.
Despite the fact that Kroos has been informed by Real Madrid authorities that he would be getting a new contract, the player himself has not yet made a decision about his future with the club.
Throughout his whole career, the experienced superstar has always said that he intends to retire from Real Madrid and that he does not seek to extend his career for an excessively lengthy period of time.
