Real Madrid’s interest in Leny Yoro, a young player who hails from Lille, has been sparked in advance of the summer transfer window, which is widely expected.
Since quite some time ago, Real Madrid has been keeping a careful watch on the defender, and they have even sent spies to the player’s current location in order to track his progress.
There are other clubs in Europe who are interested in the services of Lille’s 18-year-old defender, who has made a huge impression in Ligue 1. The Merengues are not the only team that is interested in the player, however.
A different approach that Yoro may take
Despite the fact that the price tag of sixty million euros that Lille has set on Yoro has been perceived to be a barrier in Los Blancos’ pursuit of the young genius, the club is working on developing tactics that do not put a significant strain on their finances.
According to Ramón Álvarez, it is also possible that Yoro will sign with Real Madrid in 2024 and then play a season on loan with the club.
The price tag would be reduced as a consequence of this, and the potential overbooking that may be brought about by the possibility of Nacho’s renewal would be mitigated.
In addition to that, the fact that the child would be spending a year on loan might possibly play a role in the development process, which could serve as an additional incentive for Real Madrid.
Currently in first place is Real Madrid.
There are a number of prestigious teams in Europe that have shown interest in Yoro, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, to mention just a few.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, continues to be the front-runner to claim Yoro’s signature, despite the growing interest in the defensive prodigy.
The one and only obstacle they must overcome is Lille’s high asking price, which is particularly troublesome when taking into consideration that Real Madrid also plans to buy Alphonso Davies this current summer.
On the other hand, if the Ligue 1 club were to be open to the possibility of accepting a smaller sum in exchange for a loan period, the process of Real Madrid acquiring a player would be much simplified.
