According to a story that was published on The Daily Briefing, Dani Ceballos will soon meet with the squad in order to make a decision on whether or not he will continue to be a member of the club.
Recently, Ceballos has been mentioned in connection with a possible move to Atletico Madrid. There are rumors that imply the two clubs may have reached a deal for him to swap teams inside the city of Madrid, which is located in Spain.
Atletico, on the other hand, has refuted these rumors, despite the fact that they are interested in the player anyway.
The writer claims that the rumors between Ceballos and Atletico Football Club date back to the previous season. A desire to acquire Ceballos was voiced by Atletico Madrid prior to the extension of his contract with Real Madrid until the year 2027.
Ceballos seemed to be entitled to a departure.
However, it has been believed that Atletico Madrid has not been aggressively pursuing him up to this point in the season. The future of Ceballos, however, is still up in the air and will be determined by an impending conversation with Real Madrid, which will decide whether or not he will remain with the club for the following season.
During this season, he has had a difficult time getting into games, as he has only played 571 minutes over five starts.
The previous year, coach Carlo Ancelotti referred to him as the player who was the most similar to Luka Modric. However, this season, his chances have been restricted, despite the fact that Modric himself has spent a substantial amount of time sitting on the bench.
For Ceballos, Real Madrid is requesting ten million euros.
There is no lack of potential suitors for the Spanish midfielder, as it has been reported before. In addition to Atletico Madrid, even AC Milan, an Italian club, are enthusiastic about the prospect of acquiring his services.
Due to the fact that Real Madrid and AC Milan have successfully completed a number of transactions in the past, including those involving Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz, it is important to highlight that they have a solid working relationship.
Both of them, however, have quite different attitudes to the possibility of Ceballos being transferred to another team.
Milan is looking to strengthen their midfield for the next season without making a long-term commitment, and they are curious about the possibility of obtaining him on loan. Real Madrid, on the other hand, would like to make a permanent trade that involves Ceballos rather than selling him outright.
Ceballos’ exit is expected to result in a minimum of ten million euros being recouped by Real Madrid, which will make a complete sale more desirable to the club.
On account of the fact that both clubs have different objectives in mind for the transfer, this difference in intents may make it difficult to achieve a consensus on the terms of the agreement.
