The contracts of a number of Real Madrid players are set to expire at the conclusion of the current season. One of these players is Toni Kroos, a veteran who plays in the middle of the field.
On June 30, 2024, the seasoned superstar, who is 33 years old, will have reached the end of his contract with Los Blancos. As of yet, there have been no discussions about the possibility of a renewal.
It was offered to Juventus by Kroos.
As of right now, a rumor from the Italian magazine Calciomercato has said that Kroos has been offered to Juventus, the titans of Serie A, as a free agent for the summer.
A transfer from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2014 brought the 34-year-old player to the Santiago Bernabeu, where he has been playing for over a decade at this point.
Since then, the midfielder has been a constant presence for Real Madrid in the center of the field, and for that reason, he has been an essential contributor to the team’s achievements over that time period.
However, given that his current contract is soon to expire, the report suggests that Kroos’ representatives may be exploring the possibility of a transfer to another country, with Juventus having shown interest in acquiring his talents.
Not likely to move
On the other hand, the article goes on to state that it is very improbable that Kroos would leave Real Madrid for Juventus at this moment in time.
Instead, it is anticipated that the 34-year-old will sign a new deal, which would allow him to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu beyond the current season.
It has been reported in the past that Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, and Jose Angel Sanchez, the CEO of the club, have already notified him that a contract proposal is available for him to sign. On the other hand, Kroos has not yet decided on his next course of action.
The 34-year-old player, on the other hand, has never wavered from his position that he does not foresee himself playing for any club beyond Real Madrid. Accordingly, the rumors that he was being offered to Juventus are probably not even close to being accurate.
