The Reinier Jesus of Real Madrid has appreciated Carlo Ancelotti for his kind comments about him in Italy.
The 21-year-old Reinier is now on loan at Serie A’s recently promoted Frosinone. He has been introduced to the fans, but he has not yet made his debut with the new squad.
Reinier is thrilled with his move to Frosinone.
The 21-year-old Brazilian told MARCA that he is content with his choice, which he stated was supported by both his father and Ancelotti.
I’ve made a good decision by staying here with my dad’s help. I was searching for a squad where both the players and the coach actively participate in games.
I want to remain and learn about this new culture and this new kind of football since it’s a young club. They treated me with great kindness, and I’m excited to be here and determined to succeed.
Any idea what went wrong at Real Madrid?
In January of 2020, Reinier moved from Brazilian club Flamengo to European powerhouse Real Madrid for a rumored cost of roughly €30 million. He was loaned to Borussia Dortmund in August of that year for a full two years.
Back at Madrid, he was loaned out to Girona again since he was surplus to requirements with the likes of VInicius Jr. and Rodrygo already on the roster.
The Real Madrid predicament, according to what Reinier had to say:
Great friends and talented football players, Rodygo and Vinicius are a dynamic duo. I’ve been learning a lot just watching them. Even if Vinicius had issues as well, I prefer to keep my head down and labor in solitude.
Many people speak because of my association with Real Madrid, but I like to do my job quietly and with grace. It’s great to be a part of this group; I want to contribute in some way, and I have faith that everyone here will help me communicate effectively.
At the end of his speech, he expressed gratitude to Ancelotti, adding, “When I came in Italy, one of the first things I learned was that coach Ancelotti had talked about me.
“I couldn’t be more pleased; he’s an outstanding trainer. The fact that he coaches Real Madrid, the greatest club in the world, is a tremendous honor, he said.
