In recent years, Real Madrid has shown a clear commitment to acquiring young players who are very gifted and have the potential to become superstars.
Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo Goes, Federico Valverde, and most recently Jude Bellingham are just some of the emerging players that have been acquired by Los Blancos as a result of the approach, which has shown to be a huge success as Los Blancos have constructed a top-notch team consisting of some of the finest rising stars in the globe.
The acquisitions of Arda Guler and Endrick were both done in accordance with this approach, and Los Blancos continue to keep a watchful eye out for promising young talent located all over the world.
As a result of Alejandro Garnacho joining Real Madrid
According to allegations that have been conveyed by Fichajes, Real Madrid has moved its attention to the young offensive phenom Alejandro Garnacho who plays for Manchester United.
Garnacho is a former player who came up through the ranks of the Atletico Madrid youth program. He left Spain for England in the summer of 2020 and has been steadily rising through the ranks at Manchester United.
The young winger, who was just 19 years old at the time, was a part of Erik ten Hag’s plans for the 2022–2023 season. During that season, he played for the senior team 34 times and produced five goals, as well as five assists.
Garnacho has played three times so far this season and is poised to get more playing time at Manchester United now that Antony and Jadon Sancho are no longer in the running to play there.
Juni Calafat, Real Madrid’s director of player transfers, has been keeping a close eye on the Argentine teenager’s growth at Manchester United. Real Madrid is aware of the youngster’s promise and potential.
Recent developments saw Garnacho commit to a new deal.
If Real Madrid does decide to go that path, it could be difficult for them to recruit Garnacho from Manchester United.
The young player, who is just 19 years old, recently renewed his long-term deal with the club, making a commitment to be a member of the Red Devils until the year 2028.
In addition, at his age, Garnacho has to participate in consistent game action, which may not be feasible for him to do at Real Madrid given that Vinicius Jr already plays on the left side of the field there.
Although Calafat and Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on the development of the young player for Manchester United, there is yet no tangible evidence linking the two parties.
