According to Sergio Quirante, Arda Guler, a midfielder for Real Madrid, is still working on his recuperation, and the club does not have a set date in mind for when the young star will return to the field.
It has been speculated that Real Madrid intends to make Guler’s debut on December 17 against Villarreal; however, it does not seem that this will be the case.
“Yesterday, Carlo Ancelotti reacted to Guler by stating that he would be doing high-intensity workouts the next week and that he is very close to being at her best.
In this particular instance, the Turkish player is working without a predetermined date of return. He was liberated from the strain that had been around him throughout his prior times of recuperation,” Quirante stated.
It was a difficult beginning to a new life.
Ever since Guler made the move from Fenerbahce to Real Madrid in the summer, he has been hampered by ailments, to the point that he has not yet made his debut with the squad.
During the preseason in the United States, the young Turk had a meniscus injury, which ultimately resulted in surgical intervention. As a consequence of this, he had a serious muscular injury when he was still in the beginning phases of his rehabilitation.
In spite of the fact that he returned to the team after his recuperation, Ancelotti decided to keep him on the bench because he believed that he was not yet physically ready. Midway through the month of November, another setback arose, and this time it was a muscular ailment that caused a delay.
At the same time, Guler and Real Madrid are hoping that this will be the last setback they have, and they are working toward a complete recovery before they return to the field.
The optimism that Ancelotti has for his comeback
There is a notion that Guler could be able to play a few minutes against Villarreal on December 17th, despite the fact that there is no official return date yet. As of today, Guler’s rehabilitation is progressing quite well, and there is no official return date yet established.
Ancelotti, on the other hand, made a completely different comment when he was addressing to the press. He said that he is uncertain as to whether or not the young midfielder will be ready to play this year.
He will be back very soon. The next week, he would workout more intensely. I am unsure as to whether or not he will be fit for the last game of the year or in the year 2024 “as Ancelotti put it.
Together with Guler, [Aurelien] Tchouameni is getting closer and closer to rejoining the team. Vinicius and Camavinga in the year 2024,” he went on to say.
At this point in time, there is no certainty about Guler, and the primary reason for this is that Real Madrid is treating his recuperation with extreme caution.
The former Fenerbahce superstar will first return to his regular training routine, and it will not be until after this that he will be included in the squads that will be used on matchdays.
