Real Madrid has reportedly put together a lucrative contract offer for Trent Alexander-Arnold. Might it be too good for the Liverpool star to resist?

According to a report by Caught Offside, Real Madrid are planning to offer a huge contract to Trent Alexander-Arnold. The contract is worth £14-15million per year and could last until 2030.
Needless to say, this offer will be almost be irresistible for Trent Alexander-Arnold. As it stands, the deal is close to double what he currently earns at Liverpool.
It is worth noting that no concrete moves have been made by Real Madrid at this stage. They are simply in the preparation stages.
Furthermore, Liverpool are formulating their own contract plans. So, at this stage, anything can happen.
However, given that Trent Alexander-Arnold is only under contract at Liverpool until this summer, Real Madrid has the upper-hand. They are aware that Liverpool might be losing hope, the more time progresses.
The report from Caught Offside does not state any timescale for the potential contract offering. Financially, it would make sense for Real Madrid to wait until summer, to avoid a transfer fee. Logically, it makes more sense to pay the fee and sign him in January, replacing the injured Dani Carvajal.
