The first half of the 2023-24 league season has been a breeze for Girona, who have dominated competition. The team from Catalonia has been in outstanding form, scoring 46 goals and now holding a one-point advantage over Real Madrid in the preliminary standings.

One of the rising stars on the squad, Yan Couto, has garnered the interest of teams from all around the world.

The reigning champions of the Premier League, Manchester City, are the owners of Couto, who is now at Girona on loan for a period of two years. During the course of this season alone, he has made 19 appearances in La Liga and has already tallied up five assists and one goal.
