According to Carlos Carpio of MARCA (via Ruben Martin’s Twitch), it is quite likely that Real Madrid is on the verge of finalizing a deal with Kylian Mbappe.
Expanding on this, he further states that Mbappe could potentially earn up to three times the amount that Vinicius Jr. now receives from the club.
Real Madrid desires for Mbappe to comprehend that, in terms of athletic prowess, he will be regarded as an equal member of the club, despite being the highest earner.
Moreover, continuing discussions are taking place over the method of payment for Mbappe’s signing bonus and image rights. The forward’s mother is advocating for his image rights, but, he has explicitly expressed his desire to play for Real Madrid.
While the Spanish journalist has not explicitly confirmed any deal, he has also declined to exclude the possibility of an agreement between the two sides.
Carpio further says that the current circumstances differ from those in 2022. On this occasion, Mbappe lacks the support of a financially rewarding offer from Qatar.
Qatar does not consider Mbappe to be essential to their vision or objective. Mbappe has two feasible choices in front of him – either extend his contract with PSG or join Real Madrid.
