Despite the fact that Kylian Mbappe looks to be Real Madrid’s primary objective for the summer of 2024, the Spanish powerhouses will be looking to bolster a few other vital areas within the team.
To begin, Los Merengues continue to place a high emphasis on acquiring Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich in order to strengthen their player pool at the left defender position.
To add insult to injury, Real Madrid may also make a move to acquire a new center back during the summer transfer window. This would guarantee that the club does not find itself in a scenario such to the one they are now in, in which they have only two senior central defenders, Antonio Rudiger and Nacho, due to injuries.
Real Madrid is interested in acquiring Leny Yoro.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Real Madrid has been more interested in Leny Yoro, a young player who has developed as a breakthrough star for LOSC Lille.
Los Blancos, on the other hand, will have to contend with competition from other clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich in order to get the young defender, as reported by the journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
Despite the fact that he is just 18 years old, Yoro has already participated in as many as 39 first-team games for Lille, and he has even scored three goals during that time.
Real Madrid is interested in Yoro because he is a young player who has a great deal of potential. The club even considers him to be a “new Raphael Varane.” Yoro fits the recruiting profile of Real Madrid.
An abundance of rivalry
On the other hand, as was indicated previously, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich are all interested in Yoro, and Lille is attempting to bind him to a new deal in order to secure his future.
Lille has no intention of allowing him to depart, despite the fact that Paris Saint-Germain has been attempting to sign him over the winter itself. And despite the fact that they are attempting to make a fresh offer to him, Yoro does not seem to be inclined toward a renewal of his contract.
PSG is still a strong contender for Yoro, while Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich have all shown interest in acquiring his services. Consequently, it is not yet clear how things will turn out in the years to come.
