At this point, the football transfer market is officially closed for the time being; yet, the excitement surrounding possible signings for Real Madrid is not yet ended.
There is still a lot of conjecture going around about the possibility of new players joining the team, and it is anticipated that this speculation will only increase over the next few months.
Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, made it quite plain that there will be no more players joining or departing the club during the current season. The only new players that will be joining the team for this season, according to him, will be Endrick and Kylian Mbappe.
On the other side of the scene, work was being done.
On the other hand, behind the scenes, Real Madrid’s President Florentino Perez and CEO Jose Angel Sanchez were working on a deal to acquire Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich.
In spite of the fact that his contract with the German club is scheduled to end in June 2025, Bayern Munich made the decision to keep the Canadian star on their roster.
Given the current circumstances, Real Madrid is contemplating a method that is analogous to the one they utilized when they acquired Brahim Diaz. Diaz was acquired by Real Madrid for a low amount in January, despite the fact that they could have waited until the summer to acquire him for free.
As an alternative to waiting until his contract expires, the plan is to make an effort to get Davies during the transfer window that occurs in January for a fee that is relatively low.
There are certain individuals at Santiago Bernabeu who are thinking along these lines: “We will bring him in if Bayern Munich agrees to sell him to us for €15 million.”
At the same time, they agree that “Bayern Munich are unlikely to let him go,” as reported by Defensa Central.
Both Perez and Sanchez are certain that Davies will eventually join Real Madrid in the summer of next year, regardless of how things play out during the upcoming transfer window.
This self-assurance can be attributed, in part, to the player’s own desire to wear the Real Madrid jersey while competing. If Davies does decide to make the transfer, it will be a big boost for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, and it has the ability to take the team’s quality to new heights.
