According to a report from MACA, Alvaro Rodriguez’s time at Real Madrid appears to be drawing to an end. The report confirms that although his next club has not yet been decided upon, the forward is obviously getting ready to depart Real Madrid this summer.
He is only twenty years old, but he has already established himself as one of the most promising young talents in the youth team squad. His exploits have not gone unnoticed, and a number of clubs from Spain’s top division as well as clubs from other countries have expressed a strong interest in signing him.
Always present, yet never given the opportunity to shine
Rodriguez has been a significant member of Real Madrid’s first squad for the past two seasons, and his impact has been noticeable. One of the youth players that Carlo Ancelotti has relied on frequently in training ever since he returned to the club in 2021, he has been one of the players that the manager has employed.
The teenage striker made his debut during the 2022-2023 season and proceeded to accumulate minutes over the previous season, playing in a total of ten matches in both the Copa del Rey and La Liga.
According to the rumors, Rodriguez was well aware that the summer would be a pivotal time for his professional future. He trained himself over the offseason to ensure that he would be in the best possible shape for Real Madrid’s preseason.
In the preseason, an unfortunate setback occurred.
By including him in the squad for the club’s tour in the United States, Ancelotti acknowledged the hard effort that he had put in with the team.
Regrettably, he was unable to fully demonstrate his capabilities with the first squad because he was forced to cut his vacation short and return to Spain due to an ankle injury.
Now that he has fully healed, the twenty-year-old is resolved to take the next step in his career and join a club where he can routinely compete at the top level. It appears that it is only a matter of time until he finds a new club, as many teams have expressed interest in acquiring him.
