In recent months, much has been written regarding Carlo Ancelotti’s future at Real Madrid. The Italian strategist has had a good start to the season, but connections with the Brazilian national team persist.
If Ancelotti departs Madrid next summer, Xabi Alonso is widely seen as the favorite to succeed him.
Raul Gonzalez is another name on the option list, although at the bottom of the pecking order.
The Real Madrid Castilla manager recently talked on a variety of issues, including his career and the team’s start to the season, during a promotional event.
The great striker discussed his future and if he would continue to assist the club’s young players in the future.
“I enjoy going to clubs.” “I am pleased with what I do, and who knows what will happen next year in football,” he remarked, according to Mundo Deportivo.
As Castilla’s manager, he also shared his thoughts on why there has been a drop in the amount of academy players making it to the first team and the difficulties of being a junior player.
“It’s difficult to make it to the first team.” All they have to do is fling the door open. Players like Nico Paz and lvaro might get their shot. We must strive to prepare them as best we can.”
Raul praised Real Madrid youngster Jude Bellingham and his spectacular start to life at the club, praising the English international’s brilliance and adaptability.
“In the training sessions when I’ve seen him, he’s astonished me. He is a player with a unique skill. I’ve always admired him. I coach players his age, and he is light years ahead of me. He has acclimated well to Real Madrid.
“Madrid is not reliant on him.” When questioned whether Los Blancos relied on him for goals, he said, “The team has a goal.”
Finally, Raul discussed this season’s La Liga race, which is shaping up to be an exciting struggle. With Girona, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid all in the mix, it could go any way.
“La Liga is and will continue to be very exciting.” I must applaud Girona and Mchel on their excellent performance. “Of course, I hope Real Madrid will win the Champions League,” he remarked.
