Real Madrid youngster Juanmi Latasa has left the club to join La Liga side Real Valladolid, the Merengues have officially confirmed.
According to the statement released by the club, “Real Madrid CF and Real Valladolid have reached an agreement for the transfer of our player Latasa.”
When he enters this new phase of his life, Real Madrid hopes that he and his family have the greatest possible experiences.
After joining Real Madrid in 2016, Latasa, who is now 23 years old, entered the club’s academy and worked his way up through the ranks before becoming a member of the Castilla setup for two seasons.
In spite of the fact that the center striker made his debut with the senior team in 2022, he has spent the previous two seasons on loan at Getafe due to the limited space available in the attacking unit at Madrid.
Following his return to the club this summer, Latasa participated in the pre-season season under the direction of Carlo Ancelotti and even made an appearance during the pre-season tour of the United States.
However, it was always expected that he would go, and as a result, he has already signed a deal with Real Valladolid, which is for a period of five years and will last until 2029.
Real Valladolid is reportedly going to acquire fifty percent of his rights until the year 2029, while Real Madrid will keep the other fifty percent of his rights, providing that Real Madrid decides to sell them in the future.
