It is expected that Real Madrid will face FC Barcelona in the finals of the Spanish Super Cup tomorrow night in Saudi Arabia. The match is scheduled to take place.
In the semifinals, the Merengues overcame their neighbors Atletico Madrid by a score of 5-3, while Barcelona achieved a victory against Osasuna by a score of 2-0. Both of these victories allowed the Merengues to go to the finals.
The game that will take place tomorrow is going to be a momentous event for Nacho Fernandez, since it will be the very first time that he will be captaining Real Madrid in a big championship match.
He attended the pre-match news conference on the eve of the game, where he revealed his sentiments leading into the game as he is confronted with the potential to hoist a trophy as captain of the Real Madrid club. The veteran defender was present at the press conference when he shared his feelings.
It is a really pleasant opportunity. It makes no difference who holds the titles; they are all significant in their own right. “At the end of the day, the most important thing is to win, and to win another title,” said Nacho.
During this exact point of the previous year’s Super Cup, Real Madrid was humiliated by Barcelona, who went on to win the tournament in a spectacular manner. In response to the question of whether or not the loss from the previous season made his squad more motivated to do well tomorrow, Nacho said:
Given what transpired the previous year, we are aware that they are a formidable adversary. Knowing how the team is progressing provides us with a sense of assurance. All of the other things are football-related. We are determined to triumph and take home the championship, despite the fact that we are against a formidable adversary.
Despite the fact that Real Madrid’s season has been hampered by injuries to key players over the course of the previous several months, the team has continued to fight without exhibiting any symptoms of slowing down.
In addition to having a highly powerful team, we have a unified dressing room. In spite of the injuries, we are now in first place in the Champions League, and we are also the leaders in La Liga,” Nacho added.
The team is competitive, and tomorrow is going to be a really wonderful day for us to maintain this dynamic. We always compete, regardless of whatever players we have, and the squad is competitive.
“It’s not my role, it’s logical that being in January it seems a bit short, but the team has players to make up for those absentees,” Nacho said when asked about his thoughts on the depth in the center-back department. There are just two players remaining in the position. Nacho’s response was in response to the current situation.
An optimistic report on the status of one of the wounded defenders in Eder Militao was subsequently supplied by the defender, who said, “I believe Militao is recovering well.” Starting today, the plan is to proceed in the same manner as before. We have a powerful and very talented team at our disposal.”
In spite of the fact that Nacho’s contract is set to expire at the conclusion of the current season, the defender is very unconcerned about the situation and would be willing to accept a new agreement if it were provided as soon as tomorrow.
There is a great deal of joy in my life. “The previous year, I was more concerned about what was going to happen in the future, and when I was, I played every single game until the very end of the season,” he said.
“I am performing quite a bit, I am in a good mood, and I am not concerned about my future. My connection with the club is fantastic, and if I want to sign with them tomorrow, I will be able to do so.
In continuation of his discussion on his circumstances and his contentment with his position as the captain of the team, he continued by saying, “I’m having a better and better career every year, and I’m very happy about that.” My life is going extremely nicely for me right now. Everything is going to be extremely simple for me when the renewal time approaches. When it comes to the club and Ancelotti, I have their whole trust.
“We don’t need to explain anything,” Nacho remarked in response to a question about whether or not he has any message for the younger players who are a part of the team for the Clasico. We are not required to win by any means, but we are required to give our very best effort when we play FC Barcelona. This club has a number of games that we should not lose. In any case, you are free to ask me that question.
“Barcelona are strong, they have their history,” the Real Madrid captain said in response to a question about whether or not he believes Barcelona to be a formidable opponent. They were victorious in both the Super Cup and the La Liga, but it does not make a difference if they are strong or weak; we have to give it our all and compete for the championship.
When asked about the significance of winning the Super Cup tomorrow, Nacho said, “It would be a significant boost for us if we were to win the first title of the season.” If you are successful, you have not gained anything, and if you are unsuccessful, the converse is true. For the remainder of the season, it will serve as a confidence booster.
Nacho expressed his satisfaction with the increased openness, adding that the audio of the officials talking with the video assistant referee (VAR) would be made available to everyone throughout the Super Cup.
My opinion is that it is encouraging to see the referees communicating with one another. Anything that is beneficial to both the spectators and the athletes is always a constructive thing.
Nacho complimented his defensive partner Antonio Rudiger, saying, “He’s a special player, a bit crazy as we say everything.” Antonio Rudiger was also praised for his contributions to the team’s defense. He is consistently present in the game, and he is enjoying a fantastic season.
“I jokingly say that because every time we score a goal, he always hits his teammates,” Nacho said in reference to the German defender’s passionate celebrations. Nacho also made a joke about the German defense as well.
In response to a question on whether or not the team is ready for the game, he said, “We are ready for the big games.” It inspires us to compete in matches such as the one that will take place tomorrow. We are prepared, and this provides us with a sense of calm. We are well-prepared, and this provides us with a sense of calm.
When Nacho was asked about the impact that Cristiano Ronaldo, a former superstar player for Real Madrid, has had on the footballing landscape in Saudi Arabia, he responded as follows:
“I don’t know what to say about him as a player; in my opinion, he leads the pack. Without a doubt, he is a terrific teammate… that he has had the greatest possible influence here. A great number of players have been summoned to come here by him. A lot of progress is being made in terms of football in this nation. Players will come here for a specific purpose if they want to do so.
