Real Madrid defeated Napoli, the reigning champions of Serie A, by a score of 4-2 Friday night. Jude Bellingham was once again the star of the show as Real Madrid claimed the victory.
Rodrygo scored an equalizer for Los Blancos after the team had fallen down following a goal scored by Giovanni Simeone. Not long after that, Bellingham scored a goal to make the score 2-1.
Despite the fact that Napoli scored an equalizer early in the second half, Real Madrid was able to secure all three points at the Santiago Bernabeu thanks to two goals scored by Nico Paz and Joselu in the last minutes of the match.
As a result of this win, Los Blancos will now end as the leaders of Group C in the UEFA Champions League. This is because they have won each of their five matches in the campaign up to this point.
As the evening came to a close, Bellingham finished with a goal and an assist. He created the opportunity for Joselu to score the fourth goal with a beautiful ball that went outside of the boot.
Almost immediately after the Spaniard scored, he was seen apologizing to the Real Madrid fans, and Bellingham asked him to enjoy his goals in front of the crowd in the appropriate manner.
When asked about the incident that occurred after the game, the Englishman offered the following statement: “He always does great, he was a little embarrassed for missing so many chances, but it’s football and we have to support him until the end.”
Adding, “I made an effort to locate him within the vicinity, and I was fortunate enough to be successful.”
The England international, who is now shattering record after record at Real Madrid, also discussed the mood in the locker room, stating the following:
