Now that the new year has arrived, the rumors that Kylian Mbappe is going to go to Real Madrid are once again stealing the spotlight center stage. Taking into consideration the fact that the Frenchman has reached the last six months of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, he is now free to talk with any team his heart desires.
Real Madrid has been after Mbappe for a number of years now, and they are eager to finalize the transfer of the player as soon as possible. In point of fact, it has been said that the Merengues want to make him a contract offer in the near future and are looking for a response by the middle of January.
Real Madrid intends to immediately move on to their Plan B, which is Erling Haaland of Manchester City, and would be done with Mbappe for good if they do not get a response to their interest in him.
In addition to Mbappe, Florentino Perez is interested in Haaland.
On the other hand, a new report from Le Parisien claims that Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, has expressed his desire to have both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland as members of the club.
In light of the fact that Perez was the one who initiated the Galactico period at the Santiago Bernabeu, it would seem that he is interested in establishing yet another legendary club that is packed with famous names.
Real Madrid already has players such as Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Rodrygo Goes, and Thibaut Courtois on their roster. All of these players are already included in the team.
And despite the fact that it has been speculated for a long time that the club would recruit either Mbappe or Haaland, it seems that Perez is interested in having both of these superstar attackers on the roster of the club in the Spanish capital.
The story does not provide any definitive answers on whether or not the president of Real Madrid intends to turn that dream into a reality in the year 2024.
Nevertheless, it would seem that Perez has the goal of bringing together the superstars of both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City on his agenda.
