Exciting times await Real Madrid fans. After enjoying a season filled with trophies and success, the Merengues now prepare to welcome some extraordinary new players.
Indeed, Kylian Mbappe and Endrick are set to inject even more talent into an already formidable squad, promising to further strengthen their position as a dominant force in Europe.
Endrick, who has been labelled as the next big thing in Brazil, is expected to maintain a prominent role under coach Carlo Ancelotti, as the Italian intends to immediately place him in the first team set-up.
Endrick highlights future teammate’s standout quality
The prospect of partnering Kylian Mbappe with Endrick in the team is an exciting one. Praising one of Mbappe’s standout traits, the young Brazilian said in an interview with L’Equipe.
“I like Kylian Mbappe’s right-footed shot when he pretends to open his foot but closes it at the last moment. He did it against Bayern, Real… The defenders know it but they can’t do anything.”
Unleashing a devastating drilled finish often in the near post, Mbappe has tormented many teams with this skill, yet none have quite managed to neutralize its effectiveness.
With the tremendous star power in Real Madrid’s ranks, Endrick added, “Kylian Mbappé is coming. Our team looks like one from a video game.”
Endrick’s move to Real Madrid was meant to be
According to the teenage sensation, Endrick was destined to wear the royal white jersey with the claim that his father had initially hoped to name him after Real Madrid legend Di Stéfano.
“My story with Real Madrid started before I was born. My dad wanted to name me Di Stéfano but my mother refused,” he said.
On his soon-to-be Real Madrid teammates
Endrick expressed his excitement about soon training alongside the likes of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurilien Tchouameni, whom he has already shared a positive interaction with.
“I’ve been to Madrid twice now. I discovered the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, I was able to meet Carlo Ancelotti and see the faces of my future teammates,” Endrick commented.
“I have spoken to Camavinga and Tchouaméni. They are cool and young. It’s wonderful to know that I’ll soon be training with them.”
Moreover, the 17-year-old mentioned that he looks forward to being under the wing of Vinicius Jr, who will help him adapt to the club.
“Vini will help me adapt when I arrive in Madrid. He’s an extraordinary player,” Endrick stated.
Looking forward to playing with his new teammates, Endrick added:
“On the pitch, when you have the speed of Mbappé, the dribbling of Vinicius, the talent of Rodrygo, the inspiration of Bellingham, the technique of Modric… it’s the perfect mix. I hope to make history at this club.”
