According to a reporter in Germany, a Bayern Munich midfielder linked with a move away is considering Real Madrid as an option.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are expected to cross paths a lot between now and the summer transfer window. For those who aren’t aware, the Spanish capital is thought to be interested in signing Alphonso Davies from Bayern. However, Davies isn’t the only Bayern Munich player linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Bayern Munich wantaway considers Real Madrid transfer
According to a report from Bundesliga expert Florian Plettenberg, Real Madrid have been named as one of the five clubs considered by Joshua Kimmich. The Germany international could be up for sale in the summer transfer window, with Bayern prepared to sell him if the right offer comes in. For Kimmich, his five considered clubs are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal.
It is undeniable that Kimmich is setting lofty goals, but why not? He is a seasoned professional who has been competing at the top level for a considerable amount of time now. He has been doing this for a long time. Kimmich has won the Bundesliga eight times, and there has been a lot of discussion regarding his future for quite some time now considering his accomplishments. In point of fact, Kimmich was apparently left out of the conversation with Thomas Tuchel and the higher-ups at Bayern last month.
From a number of perspectives, Joshua Kimmich seems to be the most reasonable replacement for Toni Kroos in the event that he finally retires or departs Real Madrid. In addition to being of the same nationality, they both play in a manner that is comparable to one another, in which they like to exert control over the midfield with their exceptional passing range. In spite of the fact that they are large shoes to fill, Joshua Kimmich, who is 29 years old, is more than capable of doing it.
The manner in which this transfer aligns with Real Madrid’s pursuit of Alphonso Davies would be an intriguing piece of information to observe. It is just conjecture at this early stage of the affair, but it would not be shocking to see Florentino Perez come up with a great strategy to convince Bayern Munich to allow both of its key players join with Real Madrid. This would be a brilliant move. Regarding that matter, however, only time will tell.
