The frustration that Bayern Munich is experiencing as a result of Real Madrid’s pursuit of Alphonso Davies is understandable; yet, it has been stated that Bayern Munich is planning to get retribution.
In spite of the fact that Los Blancos are doing all in their power to avoid getting in trouble with Bayern, Davies has already rejected five renewal offers from the Bavarian club. This comes in the wake of claims that Real Madrid has requested that he not extend his current contract. They are optimistic that they will be able to reach an agreement with Bayern this summer for 40–50 million euros.
According to Sport, Bayern Munich may be interested in acquiring a Real Madrid defender. It is possible that Rafael Marin will be their next target as they continue their hunt for center defensive cover coverage. It is said that one of their primary goals is the Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo; however, Matthijs de Ligt may be on his way out of the club, while Eric Dier is only there on loan.
Despite the fact that the Araujo deal seems to be challenging, Bayern is interested in Marin for two reasons. There are two reasons for this: one, he is a young player who has a lot of promise, and second, it will demonstrate to Real Madrid that if they are serious about chasing their players, then they will be able to get what they want.
Over the course of his debut season in La Liga, the 21-year-old player is presently on loan at Alaves, where he has established himself as a regular player, making 19 appearances thus far. Marin has remained stable and has not been responsible for any tree-cutting. In light of the fact that Davies and Marin do not now belong to the same group of players, the phraseology, at the very least, is somewhat synonymous with a false equivalency. Although it is not known how much Marin would cost, it is possible that Real Madrid would be willing to sell him if the correct amount was agreed upon.
