Only a select few players, including Gareth Bale, can claim to be true insiders in the Real Madrid dressing room.
While his tenure with Real Madrid did not end on a high note, the 34-year-old former Welsh national team player’s legendary status with the club has not been tarnished.
The veteran winger recently spoke with Sky Sports on Real Madrid’s newest sensation, Jude Bellingham. Bale responded affirmatively to a question about the 20-year-old’s future chances of winning the Ballon d’Or by saying, “Yes.”
With the statement “the sky is the limit for him if he keeps doing what he is doing,” he made his thoughts on the young phenomenon clear.
While praising the midfielder’s early success, Bale said, “I haven’t seen a lot, but he has made a great start, scoring a lot of goals which is important at a club like Madrid.” Basically, he’s holding his own. I hope he continues his good work for Britain.
A bright star indeed
Bellingham has not been seen in public since his huge move to Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund.
Despite his huge salary, he has become the most important player for his squad.
The newcomer has had an immediate impression for Real Madrid, contributing to five goals and one assist in only four games. His statistics are even more remarkable when you consider that several of his goals and assists have been game-winners.
The rest of the crew thinks highly of Bellingham.
It’s too soon to tell whether a new addition was a good move after just four games into the season. Bellingham, on the other hand, seems to have made a smooth transition to his new team and to be well-liked by his colleagues.
Since the day he put on the Real Madrid jersey, the players and coaches have been raving about the teenager.
When he initially began training, the three of us sitting in the corner of the table (Nacho, Lucas, and Joselu) looked at each other and remarked, “puff, this guy knows what he’s doing.” When questioned about the former Dortmund star earlier this week, Dani Carvajal remarked, “You don’t see that he is very fast, that technically he is crazy, but he is very complete.”
Many Real Madrid players, including Joselu and David Alaba, have praised the English sensation for the influence he has had on the team.
Without a doubt, Bellingham has limitless potential and might win the Ballon d’Or.
