As Real Madrid prepares to face Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal later tonight in Germany, Bayern Munich’s winger Bryan Zaragoza has said that he is optimistic that Bayern Munich will emerge victorious in the match.
Following their victory against Arsenal in the previous round, Bayern Munich emerged victorious and advanced to the last four of the tournament. As for Real Madrid, they advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Manchester City, who are now the holders of the title.
When this is taken into consideration, along with Real Madrid’s history of success in the tournament, it is generally agreed that they are the favorites to win and go to the finals in London.
Bryan Zaragoza, on the other hand, is certain that Bayern Munich will be able to go head-to-head with the Merengues and emerge victorious.
In an interview with MARC, Zaragoza said, “We are aware that Real Madrid is an outstanding team and that in the Champions League, they are among the best teams, along with us; however, it is a fifty-60 percent tie.”
When we are in our locker room, we are filled with excitement and drive, and we are certain that we have the ability to win, and we are going for it.
With regard to the atmosphere that prevailed within the locker room before to tonight’s match, he continued by saying:
Before the game, there is a tremendous deal of anticipation and motivation in the locker room. The environment is one of immense anticipation.For me, as a Spanish person, this is also a really meaningful match since my family and I have always enjoyed playing games of this kind ever since we were little.
“Everyone is extremely focused, and we are all very excited to have a positive outcome.”
Since joining Bayern Munich during the January transfer window, Zaragoza has not had a significant amount of playing time. Over the next several weeks, he will be aiming to make a difference against a team from his native country against whom he will be competing.
