The beginning of Arda Guler’s time at Real Madrid has been fraught with severe difficulty. In spite of the fact that he had been successful in the beginning phases of his career with the club, he had a recurrence of a meniscus injury during the preseason, which ultimately necessitated more surgical intervention.
Guler seemed to be on track to make his comeback to action earlier in the season; but, due to more injury issues, he has not yet played a single minute for Real Madrid, the club that acquired the 18-year-old player from Fenerbahce over the summer.
Guler is getting closer and closer to making his comeback, but according to Diario AS, Real Madrid is taking extraordinary care to ensure that the Turkish international player does not suffer from any other injuries before he is finally able to make his debut.
Carlo Ancelotti made the announcement on Friday that Guler would go on to the next stage of his rehabilitation program, which will comprise high-intensity activity. If all goes according to plan, there is a possibility that he may be able to make a comeback before Real Madrid’s twenty-third and last encounter of the year, which is scheduled to take place on December 21st against Alaves.
