In an interview with DAZN, Atletico Madrid attacker Alvaro Morata confirmed that Real Madrid midfield superstar Jude Bellingham is playing at a high level. Mundo Deportivo was cited as the source for this information.
On Sunday, Real Madrid will compete against Atletico Madrid in the Madrid derby at the Civitas Metropolitano in La Liga, and there is no question that Bellingham will provide a significant challenge for the Rojiblancos.
Bellingham is intended to be a relaxing excursion for Alvaro Morata.
Morata, who is Atletico’s primary striker, has acknowledged that Bellingham have a high level of skill in before of Sunday’s matchup, which is expected to be a blockbuster.
“I watched him play in a couple games over the course of the previous year, and to tell you the truth, he drew my eye. “I saw him play for his team as well as his national team, and after talking to people who had played with him or on the same team as him, you could already tell that he was a great player,” he added. “I saw him play for both of those teams.”
However, the former Real Madrid striker continued by saying that he hoped the England national team player would have a poor performance during the derby.
“The reality is that he is playing at a very high level; all we can do is hope that he doesn’t have much success and that our team consists of very talented players who can compensate for his strength.” Morata said, “We hope that Sunday does not turn out to be a good day for him.”
Bellingham is prepared and geared up to go.
This season, Real Madrid’s Bellingham has been the team’s most productive offensive player, as he has scored six goals and provided an assist during the club’s last six matches across all competitions.
When he was unable to finish the training sessions on Friday because of stomach troubles, it was, therefore, reasonable for there to be worries.
However, the 20-year-old returned to training today, and Carlo Ancelotti has announced that he will play against Atleti tomorrow. The Englishman has also been included in the squad list.
