The manager of Getafe, Jose Bordalas, recently gave an interview to Radio MARCA in which he disclosed the part that Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham played in assisting the Azulones in their pursuit of Mason Greenwood from Manchester United during the summer.
Only this past summer did Bellingham join Real Madrid, but he has quickly established himself as one of Carlo Ancelotti’s primary options for his team.
The effect of the England international, who plays for Real Madrid, has been the primary driving factor behind the club’s perfect start to the current season, which includes a 100% victory percentage.
It would seem that Bellingham has not only been of assistance to Real Madrid in the new season, but that he has also been of assistance to Getafe during the transfer window.
Bellingham’s part in the loan transaction with Greenwood
Since Mason Greenwood became a suspect in a sexual harassment inquiry in Manchester over a year ago, he has been suspended from playing football. The investigation is taking place in that city.
Even though the court found that the former England international had done nothing wrong and exonerated him of all charges, there was a lot of pushback against the notion that he should be reintroduced into the Manchester United squad this past summer. He only had one cap for England.
As a result of this, the club and the player came to the conclusion that it would be best to part ways, at least temporarily. And while places like Italy, Turkey, and the Middle East were being discussed, Greenwood was on his way to Getafe on a loan agreement. Getafe was Greenwood’s target.
We need to maintain our composure and patience while providing assistance to him and his teammates. Bordalas continued their discussion on Greenwood by saying, “He is integrating in a sensational way, and we hope that he can help us.”
Greenwood did not participate in Real Madrid’s match against Getafe, which was their first home game of the season and took place shortly before the international break. Greenwood’s absence was due to international commitments.
