With Real Madrid set to return to action this Saturday with a game against Celta Vigo, they have been greeted with some positive news on the injury front.
Both Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. have been training normally after not travelling to their respective national team camps due to fitness problems.
Now, another key player for Real Madrid has resumed training ahead of Saturday’s key game against the Galicians.
Eder Militao back in training
Indeed, Eder Militao is back to fitness and is training normally with the rest of the group, pictures released by the club confirm.
Militao suffered a fresh injury just before the international break and was forced to drop out from the Brazil squad as a result.
The centre-half was taken off during the game against Lille due to a muscle issue but still played 20 minutes against Villarreal, only to exacerbate the problem.
Having stayed back in Madrid, Militao has worked on his rehabilitation and seems to have recovered fully as he trained normally with the rest of the squad who are not away on international duty.
This bodes well for Real Madrid who have been hit hard by injury problems to key players over the course of the season.
As mentioned earlier, the La Liga champions take on Celta Vigo later this weekend and if all goes to plan, Carlo Ancelotti will have Thibaut Courtois, Andriy Lunin, Vinicius, Mbappe, and Militao available for the game, leaving Brahim Diaz and David Alaba as the only absentees.
