One thing Los Blancos have proven in recent years is that they won’t sign someone just for the sake of it and only bring in players who they are completely certain about. That is why their transfer track record has been so solid lately.
That also means that sometimes, they leave themselves short of options. That is certainly the case at centre-back right now and they need to make an addition there soon.

Lukeba currently plays for RB Leipzig. And it would take a significant offer for the Bundesliga club to consider parting ways with him. Figures in the region of £60 million have been suggested in the media in recent days.

Lukeba is 21 years of age and one of the best young centre-backs in Europe for sure. He has represented the France national team on one occasion so far. Signing him would be a major coup for Real Madrid.
He came through the ranks at Lyon before making a move to RB Leipzig. It remains to be seen what the future holds for him. But barring any unforeseen circumstances, he is expected to play for one of Europe’s elite teams soon.
