Real Madrid has many incredible young talents in their ranks currently. However, this could be viewed as both a blessing and a curse, as Carlo Ancelotti is responsible for ensuring they all get the right amount of attention.
Particularly in contested positions, it can be difficult to guarantee game-time to upcoming youngsters. Having experience in and around the first-team is crucial for development, however, it can be hard or even impossible to facilitate this when the squad is overloaded with talent.
Therefore, it is no surprise to see that with only a week and change remaining in the summer transfer window, teams are beginning to approach Real Madrid for loan transfers.
Norwich City want to sign Real Madrid outcast on loan
According to GE Globo, Real Madrid are in discussions with Norwich City over a potential loan deal for Brazilian youngster Reinier Jesus. Norwich would like to bring him to the club temporarily, with an option to make it permanent should they secure promotion back to the Premier League. Currently, they play in the second-tier of English football.
As things stand, though, Reinier Jesus has other options. A return to Flamengo is also on the cards, so it could come down to what destination the player prefers.
One thing which can be said for sure, at least from a spectator’s view, is that Reinier Jesus leaving the club on loan is the best option for all parties. For Real Madrid, it means one of their most promising youngsters will be getting valuable experience and for Reinier Jesus, it means that he can prove himself to the Real Madrid development team, bolstering his chances next season.
However, it also must be stated that time could be running out for the Brazilian. He has already left Real Madrid three times on loan. Usually, by this stage, players swallow their pride and seek permanent options elsewhere. It certainly doesn’t look good on paper that he’s made 0 La Liga appearances at 22 years old.
