Despite the fact that Kylian Mbappe made his long-awaited debut for Real Madrid in La Liga on Sunday against Mallorca, the match did not get off to the successful start that he had thought it would be. Mbappe, on the other hand, had the fewest total touches of all of Real Madrid’s outfield players, with just 44. The fact that he was so active in the game is shown by the fact that this is something that is somewhat expected of a center forward.
Even though he made a lot of effort, he was unsuccessful eleven times. By way of contrast, Vinicius Jr. was unable to maintain control of the ball 24 times during the encounter.
The difficulties that Mbappe had in adapting to a new role in a new environment were reflected in his performance there. In spite of the fact that his typical flare and effect were not as prominent as they normally are, his participation in the game was palpable via his touches and tries.
As he continues to adjust to his new environment, Real Madrid will be hoping that his influence on matches will become more noticeable, which will ultimately result in more favorable results for the national team.
