It has been reported by AS that Real Madrid attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz is in the process of concluding his collaboration with Nike after completing an arrangement with Adidas that is worth many millions of dollars.
In the near future, Brahim will become one of the most prominent faces of Adidas, after fourteen years of employment with the American athletic goods giants.
During the training session that took place today, the 24-year-old athlete began to put his brand-new Adidas footwear through their paces. The game against Girona on Saturday is circled in red as the anticipated day for the premiere of his new outfit with the new sponsors. Provided that all goes according to plan, this is the day that is supposed to take place.
This is not a simple choice.
It is said in the article that Brahim’s choice to go from Nike to Adidas after spending 14 years with the former was not an easy one to make.
According to reports, Nike was eager to extend the contract with Diaz and exerted a great deal of effort to reach an agreement. The suggestion that Adidas made, on the other hand, was so compelling that it could not be rejected.
To begin, it is generally accepted that the magnitude of the transaction is of a “Titanic” kind. On top of that, the partnership with Adidas will take the Spaniard, who is 24 years old, to an entirely new level, since he will be joining the constellation of superstars that Adidas has created.
After all, Adidas is the home of some of the most famous football players in the world, such Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah, and Karim Benzema. Other notable football players include Pedri, Joao Felix, and Jude Bellingham, who is Brahim’s teammate at Real Madrid and is going to earn his very own distinctive logo from the brand.
Brahim growing after slow start
Following his return from a loan arrangement with AC Milan that lasted for three years, Brahim got off to a sluggish start at Real Madrid, where possibilities did not present themselves.
Regardless of the circumstances, the 24-year-old player did not lose his patience and made the most of the opportunities that were presented to him, particularly in the latter part of the previous year when Vinicius Jr. was sidelined.
This past weekend, Real Madrid’s match against their neighbors Atletico Madrid resulted in a 1-1 tie. Brahim was the most valuable player for Real Madrid.
Throughout the course of this season, Brahim has participated in a total of 26 matches across all competitions, resulting in a more than satisfactory total of seven goals and three assists.
